What makes the 26RSD09 deck different?

The Awakening of the Blazing Phoenix [26RSD09] is one of the first starter decks created specifically around the new Battle Spirits [Re] Zekkai no Sora anime.

Unlike a generic entry deck, it is designed to reproduce an anime-used deck while keeping the card text accessible for new players.

The deck is also built with future expansion in mind: cards from Conqueror of the Forbidden Realm [26RBS03], released one week later on October 17, 2026, can be combined with 26RSD09 to further develop the strategy.

Connection to Battle Spirits [Re] Zekkai no Sora

Bandai announced The Awakening of the Blazing Phoenix [26RSD09] together with Leviathan Whale of the Abyss [26RSD10] as the first two starter decks linked directly to Battle Spirits [Re] Zekkai no Sora, the new Battle Spirits television anime scheduled for fall 2026.

This is important for the PDP because it gives the product a much clearer identity than simply calling it a red-themed or beginner Battle Spirits deck.
